Thank you for your interest in Sagebrush Cycles. In September of 2007 James Gritters purchased the assets of Century Cycles and struck out on a mission to create an utopia for the cycling enthusiast. Over much deliberation and just a little libation, the name "Sagebrush Cycles" was born. It won out over such names as "Fluffy Kitten Cycles" (Just imagine the jerseys!), "Flaming Chicken Cycles" (in recognition of the grand art which adorns the Galveston and 14th roundabout) and screaming toad cycles (no real reason for that one... See the part about LIBATION). Once the name was set and the colors were born, the crest set high and all the governmental fees (for the colors, the crest, and just being born) were paid, it was down to business! We have strived to choose some of the best product lines available. We are lucky to have such industry leaders such as Jamis, Look, Intense, Eddy Merckx, Santa Cruz, Pivot, BH, Banshee, We the People, and Eastern.
